Samy Kamkar, a guy with a past π has set his mind to an exploit which many just might have been toying with - subverting drones (well, if you think like me). His Skyjack drone sniffs wireless signals sent out by a target drone, then injects his own WiFi packets into the target droneβs connection, de-authenticates the target drone from its legitimate controller, and then re-authenticates it to the Skyjack drone, establishing it as the controller. Running on a Raspberry Pi, there is the germ of an idea here which, once realised, could create a drone mini-army.
Here's Samy's video:

Now, go to sleep tonight dreaming of how you will takeover Amazon drones delivering champagne, diamonds and exquisite chocolates. I suspect in my dream I will mistakenly hijack a drone delivering babies' nappies. I suppose that's the way it goes in reality π
